I used a 1-foot piece of black thick scrap-book paper from Michael's craft store.
The tail can be used to stand the model up. However, the model is balanced so that
if thicker paper is used it can stand on it's two legs with it's tail in the air as in the icon for this video.

I'm really happy to bring you this model. As an origami enthusiast myself, I am always excited to see when a new advanced model adds to the world of origami works. I hope you enjoy folding Alien as much as I do.
