Just kidding, LOL. Nothing is that easy! But this will show you how easy it is to demo a tub surround. Just wear a respirator, please.

Here are a few things I want to point out:
1. If you are wanting to keep your existing drywall walls on the outside of tub surround, use a level and mark a straight line. The use a reciprocating saw to cut out neatly
2. If you are planning to leave the ceiling, score the ceiling transition with a utility knife, this way it doesn't pull the paper seam off the wall
3. Remove drywall at least 2" away from tub to easily remove tub; This is an area that you will want to tile after new tub is in. All too often drywall gets wet when its butted up to the tub
