Northstar California Resort kicked off the winter 2014-2015 season at 8:30 a.m. today with complimentary S’mores and Starbucks coffee for guests as they boarded the Big Springs Gondola at the start of a beautiful day.
Skiers and snowboarders delighted in using the five lifts Northstar had turning, providing access to four open trails, making a total of 33 acres available to our guests. All trails were freshly groomed overnight, and six terrain park features on Skid Trail made for added excitement.
The weather forecast calls for four to eight inches of natural snowfall throughout the weekend, and Northstar’s fantastic Snowmaking Department will continue to do what they do best!
