Places to see in ( Perugia - Italy ) Via dell’Acquedotto

This is the opportunity to see the Ancient Roman Aqueduct in Perugia. They are beautiful and functional. They provided the romans with fresh clean water--as Romans were entitled and given--free water, bread and games.

After researching this before we left for Perugia we found the Acqueduct relatively easily after turning off from behind Piazza Novembre. It's so interesting to be able to walk along a piece of history and see how the original aqueduct would have functioned.

Ancient roman aqueduct which now connects to the lower end of the city. Beautiful view. At end of walk take a right and you will arrive in piazza grimana where the university for foreigners is located as well as the arch etrusco.
