We’re walking you through how to build a pit bike in this new series of videos from Partzilla.com!
This is a Kawasaki KLX 110 pit bike build, but these little dirt bikes have lots of commonality, so whatever you’re doing your pit bike mod on-- even if it’s not a KLX-- this series is chock full of ideas you might want to incorporate into your pit bike build.
Today though, we’re just getting started. So we’re not taking the wrenches to our KLX 110 just yet. In this video, John will walk you through some of the plans we have for this machine. Now this is an old dirt bike, so we have to go through the engine a bit before we get into the other pit bike mods we have planned: brakes, rims, exhaust, and suspension are all on the menu for this bike.

In the video we’re working with a 2006 Kawasaki KLX 110, but you may have similar steps for your KLX dirt bike. If you’re not sure whether these steps apply to your machine, leave a comment and we’ll get back to you.
