Colin Ng talks about his work on cryo-microneedles for insulin delivery in diabetes patients and focuses on how research, entrepreneurship, and patient recovery are all a step-by-step process. Colin Ng is the founder and CEO of Greater Bay Biotechnology. GBBT focuses on the research, development and commercialisation of transdermal drug and cell delivery and diagnostic technology with wide applications, including the treatment of diseases (e.g. diabetes, cancer, psoriasis) and skin care. GBBT is a business supported by the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) HK Tech 300 Seed and Angel funds, Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP) Ideation program and HKSAR Government Innovation and Technology Fund’s Technology Start-up Support Scheme for Universities (TSSSU). Colin is currently studying for his fourth Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences at CityU. He holds an MSc (Real Estate) from the University of Hong Kong, a Master of Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia, an MBA from the University of New South Wales & University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from University of New South Wales.
