inov-8 Trailfly G 270 V2 First Run & First Impressions Review. We've had another update from the inov-8 brand arrive at Run4Adventure HQ, the TRAILFLY G 270 V2. This is the latest version of their best selling trail running shoe and they've made a few tweaks to the upper design. That's good news for me because there were elements of the previous model I really enjoyed - the pairing of the POWERFLOW MAX midsole and BOOMERANG footbeds worked really well and offered a good balance between comfort and connection. Unfortunately, I did have a few comfort issues on a couple of long runs were the ankle collar started to cause me some irritation on the top of my foot. inov-8 claim that the new upper construction is going to be a lot more comfortable so I guess there's only one way to find out, let's take the new TRAILFLY out for a run!
