We celebrated the successful completion of the EU-funded project PRESERVE: The Bio-based Packaging Revolution on 12 December 2024 in Berlin.
This event showcased the key achievements of PRESERVE, including innovative prototypes developed over the past four years. Our goal was to enhance the recyclability of food and drink packaging while upcycling these materials into non-food applications.
Attendees gained valuable insights into the latest research and cutting-edge developments in bio-based, recyclable packaging. Discussions focused on the future of bio-based food and drink packaging, considering current and upcoming regulatory and market trends. A panel discussion with project experts, industry stakeholders, and EU policymakers provided perspectives on the road ahead. Additionally, sister EU-funded projects aligned with our objectives presented their latest findings. The event concluded with a networking coffee, offering attendees the chance to explore matchmaking opportunities.
This event was organized as a satellite to the European Bioplastics Conference – EBC 24 held on 10/11 December in Berlin.
