Climbing up to these volcanic craters is an unforgettable lifetime experience. Kerid crater and Hyverfjall crater are located in Iceland, a land of fire and ice. I literally hiked up these craters when I visited them. These two volcanic craters have been inactive for many years. Koko Head crater is another inactive crater that can be found in O'ahu, Hawaii. I didn't climb this crater but flew my drone right above it. Taal volcano crater which is still an active volcano is located in the Philippines. I climbed this volcano twice already and this year, it just erupted.
The first part of my video is the Námafjall Geothermal Area which is located in Northeast Iceland. It is a mountain volcano and in this area, you will also see Hverir, where you can literally walk among so many smoking fumaroles and boiling mud pots, surrounded by sulphur crystals of many different colours. This sulphur gives the area an overwhelming smell of eggs.
