A man is dead after crashing a stolen vehicle during a police chase in Dallas, Texas.
Officers said they attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle when the driver backed into a patrol vehicle and drove away. While driving, police said the suspect intentionally crashed into another vehicle, prompting police to initiate a chase. That's when the driver started shooting at officers, police said. The chase ended when the driver crashed.
Police said no officers were injured, and no officers fired their weapons.
The driver was taken to an area hospital for injuries sustained in the crash where he later died.
