Question:
The sign of a negative support force is not displayed in the result graphic. What is the explanation for this?
Answer:
In the result graphic, the support forces are always displayed as positive, whereby the arrow directions are adjusted accordingly.
This way, you can easily see the effect of the support force. In Project Navigator - Display, you can activate the additional output of the algebraic signs under "Results" and "Support Reactions".
