Welcome to my channel! In this video, I'm sharing my honest reaction to the Crossfit Games 23.1 open workout announcement. The workout includes a grueling series of exercises: 60 calories on the rower, 50 toe to bar, 40 wall ball shots, 30 cleans, and 20 ring muscle ups. As a seasoned Crossfitter, I've got some thoughts on this workout!
First off, I'm excited to tackle this challenge head-on. It's no secret that this workout is tough, but that's what makes it all the more rewarding to complete. In this video, I break down my rough plan for approaching each exercise and share some tips on how to maximize performance and avoid burnout.
The rower can be a real doozy, so I plan on starting strong and pacing myself as I go. For the toe to bar, I'll be focusing on maintaining proper form and using my momentum to keep moving. When it comes to the wall ball shots, I'm going to focus on my breathing and breaking them up into manageable sets. The cleans are where I'll need to be extra careful and maintain proper form, while the ring muscle ups will be all about pacing myself and taking breaks when needed.
I also share some things to think about when approaching this workout, such as staying hydrated, fueling your body with the right foods, and getting plenty of rest leading up to the workout. These might seem like no-brainers, but they can make all the difference when it comes to pushing yourself to your limits.
I'm excited to see how this workout goes, and I hope my experience can help you prepare for it as well. So sit back, grab a notepad, and let's dive into the Crossfit Games 23.1 open workout!
