With very kind permission from Blue Bell railway, we were granted footplate access and said our final goodbye to a gentleman that was nothing short of train mad. Having boarded many trains such as the american Big-Boy and the Flying Scotsman, no other farewell tribute could have been more fitting than to be released forever from a beautifully preserved and the only one left in the world loco - the 30541.
