Create a retro-looking 3D text, with a long 3D volumetric shadow, in Affinity Designer. It's quite easy to create this text effect. Affinity Designer doesn't have an extrude tool or a 3D tool like Xara and other programs, but if you want to create this text (or any other shape) with a shadow/3D extrusion behind it, follow this easy tutorial.
We will be using the Layers panel a lot on this Affinity Designer for beginners tutorial.
