Leader of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Sanjay Shinde was burnt alive in his car after it caught fire in the Nashik district of Maharashtra. After noticing the flames, Shinde tried to stop his car, but he could not get out as its doors got locked. A case of accidental death has been registered in the matter at Pimpalgaon Baswant police station.
