Senate Democrats today led the passage of a small business jobs bill, which will create a $30 billion small business lending fund and provide $12 billion in tax breaks to help companies invest and hire. "There is nothing more important to our economic recovery than strengthening America's small businesses," said Senator Mary Landrieu. "The Small Business Jobs package improves access to capital and provides targeted tax breaks to small firms." This legislation will now go to the House, where it's expected to pass and head to the president's desk to be signed.
