This brief video clip shows the Taylor Pea Sheller quickly and easily shelling dry beans as well. We purchased ours from these folks: [ Ссылка ]. As you can see, some of the beans are kicked back, but it's easy at the end of shelling a batch of beans to just sweep the loose beans forward towards the rollers, and they'll fall through and down into the green tub underneath the shelling deck. The empty pods go through the rollers and out the front, while the beans drop down and into the green tub. Then you'll just winnow the beans with a fan to get rid of any remaining plant debris. This machine has saved us countless hours of shelling beans by hand. Note: If you call Taylor Manufacturing directly and ask them if their pea sheller will do dry beans, they will tell you "no" -- which is what they told us. But we had seen a comment from someone on a SeedSavers Exchange forum saying he shells 80 to 100 pounds of dry beans every year with this machine. So then we called the online seller, who turns out to be very knowledgeable and helpful, and they said customers were indeed buying and using it for dry beans. But we couldn't find any video or other evidence of dry beans being shelled with this machine, so we wanted to get a video out there showing it in action. If you grow a lot of dry beans, you'll want this. We can shell in 15 minutes what it would take hours to do by hand.
