Green is a surprisingly difficult color to mix. We all know that you can get green by mixing blue and yellow, but the greens you get that way are often very saturated and not realistic. One trick to tone your greens down a bit is to add a touch of red to the mix.
In this video I'm working with watercolor, but principal will work for any other paint type just as well.
Colors I'm using here:
Anthraquinone Blue by M Graham
Cadmium Red by M Graham
Hansa Yellow Light by Daniel Smith (lemon yellow)
Naples Yellow by M Graham
