This is a repair of a Dewalt 20v Max DCC020I inflator which stopped working when using a battery. It continued to work using the 12V adapter. I purchased two OEM relays and installed one on the battery line which fixed the inflator.
The only really challenge is not the disassembly, but the desoldering. No lead/high heat solder is used on the PCB and does require work to remove with basic tools. A solder station with a pump would make this much easier. Don't be intimidated though, just be careful and go slowly.
FYI, there is a small plastic wheel just above one of the solder points - remove it temporarily - it does come off. This will provide more room to work.
The relay which was removed proved to be defective when tested with a meter.
The relay parts are as follows:
SANYOU SRG-S-118DM (this one is for the battery line) - I only changed this one.
SANYOU SRG-S-112D (this one is used when the unit is plugged in).
These were purchased from AliExpress for under a $1/each. The total with shipping was under $5.
As far as the pump sensor error (ERR5) that some people have, I only have a suggestion. The original sensor is hard to find, but I do highlight a potential replacement. I have not tried this option, simply trying to offer some hope.
The Dewalt pump sensor is made by mzys-tech.com. The OEM model is M1711. I can't find the exact model on their site. It could have been a custom product for Dewalt/Stanley. There is a M1702 listed [ Ссылка ]. The pins might be the same as the M1711. The pins are as follows:
1=V+
2=Vo+
3=V0-
4=GND
There is one replacement that I found which may be compatible and worth a try for those that are courageous. Again, I haven't taken on this repair.
The products is WF161S which is around $4 from AliExpress. ie: search WF161S on Aliexpress.com

2=V0-
3=Vo+
4=V+
The only issue is that it may not be rated as high as 160PSI (11Bar). Anyway, maybe someone can Frankenstein it together and report back.
