Well, once you’ve uncrated your island… The true assembly begins.

What’s first?

Removing the reinforcement braces.

When you unpack your island panels… You’re going to notice that there are metal channels running straight across them.

These were only required for shipping purposes!

Why?

Concrete panels are susceptible to flexing… Especially during transport.

We put on reinforcement braces before shipping to reduce this flexing as much as possible. So when your island is getting shipped across the country… You don’t receive a delivery with damaged panels. (That would be frustrating!)

So, all you need to do is remove them!

Take your drill, add the correct bit size… And remove!

Simple as that.

From there, your panels will be prepped for the remaining RTA outdoor kitchen assembly.

After a few more steps… You’ll be grilling in just a few hours!
