Tehran NOW | The Iranian Platform
The fair has expanded its scope to embrace West Asia, featuring artists who live and work in Iran. Amongst the 40 international, European and French galleries, some of which will present artists from the Iranian diaspora, 8 galleries coming directly from Tehran will be exhibited in Paris for the first time. The platforms gathers over 60 Iranian artists in total and includes as well dazzling special projects developed around Tehran NOW.
This original proposal is developed by the advisory board members of Tehran NOW: at the initiative of Tatiana Gecmen Waldek and Anahita Vessier, Jean-Marc Decrop, curator Odile Burluraux, Aria Kasaei, Peyman Pourhosein and Samira Kaveh from Studio Kargah, and the artistic directors contributing to the platform's projects: Maneli Keykavoussi, Kamran Diba, Leila Varasteh and Vida Zaim, Behnood Javaherpour.
