Preview by Ajay Pal Singh After a historic ODI series win over the hosts, Mohammad Rizwan's men will be brimming with confidence as Pakistan take on Australia in a three-match T20I series, with the first match set to be played at the Gabba in Brisbane on Thursday (November 14). Both teams have had a lot of new players coming in for different reasons. While some key players for the Aussies are out due to the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Pakistan have rested some of their key performers who helped the Men in Green script a famous win Down Under. Saim Ayub, Abdullah Shafique, Kamran Ghulam, and Mohammad Hasnain, who featured in the three ODIs, have been rested while Aamir Jamal and Faisal Akram have been left out without getting a game. Jahandad Khan and Mohammad Abbas Afridi are the two fresh pacers who come in for the visitors. Omair Bin Yousuf, Sahibzada Farhan, and Usman Khan are the new additions to the batting squad that defeated Australia in their own backyard in the three-match ODI series. Sufiyan Muqeem is a leg-spinner and the only front-line spinner in the squad for the Men in Green. Mohammad Rizwan will become the 12th Pakistan captain to lead their nation in the shortest format of the game. For Australia, Josh Inglis will handle the captaincy duties in the absence of regular skipper Mitchell Marsh, who has been rested to be ready for the first Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test match. Inglis will become the 14th player to lead Australia in the shortest format of the game. Tim David and Nathan Ellis have come into the squad for the hosts, while Josh Philippe has come in as a replacement for Cooper Connolly. The rest of the squad remains the same as it was for the final ODI of the three-match series, which Australia lost by 8 wickets. Which team will get the win and take an early lead in the 3-match series? To find out, tune in at 12:30 PM IST & 5 PM Local Time on Thursday for its live coverage. Match Timings: 1:30 PM IST & 6 PM Local Time.
