The 2nd Battalion the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers have been hosting cadets from the north of England this week.
More than thirty youngsters from the Northumbria Army Cadet Force flew to Cyprus to get a taste of military life.
The teenagers have been practicing field skills and adventure training and also fired heavy weapons for the first time.
