A drone is defined as an aerial vehicle which uses aerodynamic
forces to provide lift. Beforehand, drones were used only for military
applications, filming, and surveillance. In this work we are developing a
drone as logistical devices that carries products from a retail outlet to the
consumer’s address, the GPS is inbuilt within the drone to determine the
exact location. There is an auto tracking system by which the location of
the drone can easily be determined, with failsafe functionality. The
developed drone design software used is Ardu-pilot mission planer.
Different analyses are made on the drone to choose the best available
material, guarantee its stability, and ensure its safety. In addition, better
understand of the system’s flight dynamics and electronic functions, and
environment parameters to determine the flight autonomy are clearly
shown and explained ,finally the drone has successfully complete its
mission , it takeoff from home reach to costumer location drop the
payload and return to home, the drone was able to carry from 0.8kg to
1.2kg from warehouse to Costumer location in about 17 minute Flight
time.
