“The Air Freight Specialist” is a color commercial film from the mid-1960s produced by US TV Newsfilm Inc. of Hollywood, California to promote the services of Flying Tiger Line, the first scheduled cargo airline in the United States and a major military charter operator during the Cold War era for both cargo and personnel. Produced, written, and narrated by Clete Roberts, the film features original footage by Tex Zeigler. The film emphasizes the origins of the business from WWII to its pioneering services of Sea-Air, Sky-Road, advance Manifest, and lower rates to deliver freight between the USA, Europe, and Asia. In 1986, Flying Tiger merged with FEDEX.
