In this video, I discuss my history with real amps and amp modelling and ultimately, why I decided real amps beat modelling.
PLEASE NOTE: In hindsight, I have been pretty harsh towards the Axe-FX and Fractal in this video. FOR EMPHASIS: I do not think the issues discussed are exclusive to Fractal\Axe-FX units and the issues discussed apply to amp modelling\Cab Sims as a whole, however the Axe-FX is what I had the most experience with, ergo it is what I commonly referred to.
ALSO PLEASE NOTE: You can still do amazing things with amp modelling despite the issues I discussed here. Not trying to be a hater. Just talking about what worked best for me and why.
