The Sultan of Johor has called the latest pollution incident in Pasir Gudang "despicable and a total disgrace". Speaking to local media, Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar said he wants answers from authorities over the incident, which resulted in over 700 people seeking medical treatment for breathing difficulties and vomiting.
