Russia pays tribute to slain ambassador Andrei Karlov.
A funeral service has begun in Moscow for the country's envoy to Turkey who was killed in Ankara on Monday. Diplomats and family members gathered at the Foreign Ministry to bid their farewells to Karlov. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov laid flowers at the foot of the open-casket.
President Putin is expected to pay his respects later on at the ministry.
