CatsIllustrated’s David Sisk shared his thought’s on Knox from the McDonald All American Game:

“Karter Knox showed some flash early in the game. He finished with nine points of 4 of 6 shooting. Knox made his only three-point attempt in 12 minutes of play.

HIs first score came via a strong straight line drive with his right hand. Knox is powerful going downhill. His first step is not overly explosive, but if he gets shoulder to shoulder with his defender he becomes a load. He can finish through contact at 226 pounds. His spot on the floor at Kentucky may be getting that handoff from the corner in the Dribble Drive offense. If he get turned downhill he becomes an issue when he gets to feet in the paint. He also hit a transition catch and three.”
