The All Assam Students' Union and the Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad are carrying out joint protest rallies across the State against the amended #CitizenshipAmendmentAct.
Hundreds of activists from both the organisations are staging a sit-in demonstration in Jorhat.
Hundreds of protesters, including artistes took part in the joint protest rally of the AASU and AJYCP in Kaziranga.
Meanwhile, the All Assam Students' Union and the Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad have taken out a massive joint protest rally in Eastern Assam's Tinsukia.
