Zambia’s criminal justice system can be perilous for people with psychosocial or intellectual disabilities, sometimes keeping them confined for years at a time.
Now, a coalition of advocates is working to improve policy and practice not only for people with disabilities, but for anyone coming into contact with the justice system.
