The Ministry of Health has reportedly run out of funds to pay health workers over a period of six months.
The distressed health workers, who work in public health facilities, say they have not received salaries and Covid-19 allowances.
Some sources within various hospitals, tell NTV’s Walter Mwesigye that the ministry of health has not explained the cause of the delay.
