*Disclaimer: This video is not intended to give medical advice. If your post-op instructions from your surgeon are different. Always follow your surgeon's instructions.
For the first three days, DO NOT TOUCH THE RECIPIENT. Leave it as is. The grafts are the most vulnerable in the first three days.
After the third day, you will begin washing your hair as directed in the video. Make sure you use either shampoo provided to you by the clinic or baby shampoo. Do not use any harsh shampoo like Nizoral.
You can resume using Nizoral and regular shampoo after the grafts have shed. Do not use any tight beanies, caps, wave caps for the first two weeks. If you need to go outside, make sure you wear a loose cap. If you have any questions or want to suggest another topic for a video, please let me know in the comments section.
If you have additional questions, feel free to ask in our Q&A section of the forum. We have surgeons that are active and answer questions all the time. Plus, we have hair transplant veterans who have experience. Compare notes and share experiences.
