On this episode of Meet My Inspiration I speak with David Breakspear. David’s story is both heartbreaking and inspiring. From the age of ten, he’s spent nearly 40 years in and out of the criminal justice system in the UK. He has had a rough life with long stretches in prison, periods of homelessness and drug addiction. But, against all odds, at nearly 50 years of age, he managed to turn his life around. He now uses his voice and experiences to both reach out to at risk youth and to inspire change and reform in the criminal justice and education systems.

Certainly, one key point that can be taken from his story is that it’s never too late to change yourself for the better. If he can break the cycle of a life of crime, imprisonment and drug abuse, you can certainly make the change that you want in your life. However big or small it may be.
