This event, the second King’s Experts Series of the academic year, explores the topic of ‘AI, Quantum and Microtechnologies in Healthcare’.
For over a decade, King’s College London engineering researchers have been working side-by-side with healthcare professionals to develop patient-centred innovations. Combining King’s research expertise with the clinical knowledge and infrastructure of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, they formed St Thomas’ MedTech Hub. A unique facility in the UK and within Europe, aiming to accelerate the integration of medical devices into health systems to enable better and earlier diagnosis and more effective treatment of disease and illness in patients.
We are joined by leading King’s experts who will discuss cutting-edge research across medical imaging technologies, surgical robotics and quantum science. They explore how these technologies are changing medical diagnosis, treatment and designing a future that empowers us to live well with technology.
