The Perfection Loop is knot that every fly fisherman should know. It's most used when connecting leader to fly line.

There are many wonderful videos showing you how to tie this knot. However, one of the problems when tying it the traditional way, is the difficulty in controlling the size of the loop. As trout anglers, this is especially important if you want to make small loops for an adjustable dry-dropper tag or a small loop, in lieu of a tippet ring.
