Amid a tug-of-war between the BJP and Shiv Sena over government formation in Maharashtra, RPI leader Ramdas Athawale has said that Sena should accept the Deputy CM post for Aaditya Thackeray. Shiv Sena has demanded implementation of the 50:50 formula, which they say was agreed to before the polls. Shiv Sena won 56 seats in the 288-member Maharashtra assembly, while BJP won 105 seats. Sena has demanded a written assurance over sharing power equally including the Chief Minister’s post.
