The moment Boruto Uzumaki was brought back to life, it wasn't just Naruto Uzumaki was was elated to have Boruto living again, but it was also the fans of Boruto as a character. However, Momoshiki's decision to throw away any future opportunity to use Boruto's body as a means to resurrect himself has been met with some fans calling it a great character moment for Momoshiki, other fans stating that this is proof that Momoshiki has something bigger planned, and a growing number of fans saying that this has been bad writing that has dragged Momoshiki's character through the mud.
