Kenya Pipeline Company has today outlined the progress of the new Nairobi Mombasa pipeline, also called line 5, after it emerged that the pipeline hasn’t met its timeline targets.
The delay has raised concerns that the projects initial 35 billion shillings cost could shoot up by a further 15 billion shillings. Terryanne Chebet reports
