Our Dishwasher (GE Model Number DDT595SMJ0ES) was not cleaning the dishes and I figured out that water was coming into and draining out of the dishwasher just fine but not circulating in the dishwasher and so the dishes did not get clean. The dishwasher circulation pump had gone bad and so I took off the old one and replaced it with a new circulation pump. It was fast and easy to do and it saved us a lot of money to do it myself. The new pump only cost about $85 vs. the cost of a new dishwasher. It worked great until the water stopped draining out of the dishwasher a couple of months later.
