Incredible morning fishing a rock wall/ beach in southeastern Massachusetts during the fall run! The striped bass were feeding on topwater in a cove as the tide was rising. The weather was ideal with sunny skies and with water temperatures around 60-degrees it made for a comfortable day for wader fishing. As the fall run was stoking up the stripers had bait pinned in the cove and this led to a wild & epic fall run striper blitz on this particular early October day. I was fishing this blitz with Joey, Rob, Trevor and Eddy. We had been skunked earlier at a different beach and in true full fall run spirit we opted for the "run & gun" and headed about 20 minutes down the road to another spot at Joey's recommendation. Upon arriving we immediately encountered a raging blitz with birds working feverishly! It was off to the races as we all climbed down the bounders and waded over to our perch for casting. Between the five of us we all caught fish and we combined for about 20 stripers!
