Incredibly satisfying court level view of left-handed players Denis Shapovalov (Canada) and Cameron Norrie (United Kingdom).
Here we see 2 amazing left handed players practice their forehands and backhands!
From this Court Level view, you can see how loose and powerful Shapovalov's groundstrokes are! He has incredible bouncy-like footwork which he uses to generate effortless power from the ground up to the ball at contact. He uses his legs very well to explode into the ball on his groundstrokes but also on his serves.
Shapovalov's backhand is a very offensive shot where many other players can't get the pace and heaviness that he can.
To top it all off, the guy can rap if you haven't already seen it on YouTube :)
This was a practice during the 2022 Melbourne Summer Set where a few ATP and WTA 250 events were held leading into the 2022 Australian Open. This is the newly built Show Court Arena, aka Kia Arena, which has a seating capacity of 5,000 and also looks quite nice. I could watch them hit groundstrokes back and forth all day!
Near the end of the video you can see a helicopter overhead getting footage of Novak Djokovic inside Rod Laver Arena.
