This video tutorial demonstrates the rhythms (styles) on board the Yamaha PSR e373 keyboard. This is the first of 3 videos looking at the e373 rhythms and in this video I consider and demonstrate most of the options for 3/4 time available. The music used includes 'Die Fledermaus' (Strauss), 'Somewhere my Love' (by Maurice Jarre "Dr Zhivago"), 'Dive' by Ed Sheeran and 'Barcarolle' by Offenbach. The styles reviewed include 187 ItalianWaltz, 188 Swing Waltz, 189 Jazz waltz and 192 OberkrainerWalzer.
I also chat about rhythm-styles in 6/8 and 12/8 and how they can be used for songs in 3/4 time as well. There is a bit of theory thrown in as well. Copious screen shots are included.
