This third and last episode of our s mythology painting series is a supplementary illustration for the porch of maidens (temple Erechtheion) painting we did in the 'monuments in watercolor' series.
Commenting on the practice of 'caryatid,' (sculpting vertical architectural elements in the shape of human figures,) the subject of this painting envisions a giant pillar/column sculpted in the shape of Superman.
