Anne-Sophie Gigan 's Dublin, Dancers and Dreams exhibition portrays a variety of traditional dances using the backdrop of Dublin’s most famous landmarks as a backdrop. This 3 year-long photography project intended to capture the cultural richness and diversity that Dublin offers by welcoming cultures beyond its borders. The traditionalism of the dances and the modernity of the city blend in harmonious contrast, allowing foreign cultures to feel free to represent themselves in a land that welcomed them with open arms. "
Opening in presence of the artist and dancers depicted in the exhibition for some very special dance performance in various styles including ballet, handstand, Irish, Sean-Nós and hip-hop.
