The Boeing-Vertol CH-46 is a medium-duty transport helicopter with two main rotors in tandem configuration. As a result, no tail rotor is required and the full engine power is available for lift.
The CH 46 RC model helicopter has exactly the same tandem rotor configuration. The two rotors are connected to each other via a shaft and move in opposite directions. Therefore, the RC helicopter can also use both rotors for lift. The RC CH-46 is an extremely detailed replica of the original copter. This is particularly evident in the cockpit of the RC helicopter. The controls, displays and switches look exactly like the original helicopter.
The RC helicopter CH-46 is powered by an electric motor and has excellent flight characteristics that come very close to the flight pattern of the original helicopter.
