IES 2023 Math Summit - “Understanding Learning Progressions and High School Pathways for Student Success” (Audience: 4–8)
Description: In this session, attendees will have an understanding of what learning progressions are along with theoretical concepts and frameworks associated with them. They will understand how progressions are woven into the pathways of learners in a way that sets them up for success as high school students. As they understand these concepts, they will grasp the big picture of how to leverage progressions within pathways of learners in a way that will help all educators implement equitable math practices during instruction, so that they can intentionally help all learners succeed.
