ticket Entrance price €13 for the mezquita and catedral. The price for the bell tower was seperate which had a few hour queue if you wanted to book from the kiosk. Would recommend to pre book this was around €3 for a ticket and would save you standing in the queue.
The mezquita was quite easily accessible from the coach station and was a 10-15 minute walk so it wasn’t very far. On the way to the mezquita catedral there were tons of shops and stores and the catedral was opposite a street of shops which wasn’t expected. The catedral mezquita was very big and vast and in the month of May it was quite busy. There was lots of seating indoors as well as outdoors. The alcazar de los reyes cristianos was also a few minutes walk as was the Roman bridge.
Eveything was closely accesible which was great.
We traveled from Granada which was approximately 3 hours journey by coach. The train wasn’t as frequent so we decided coach was better. Overall it was a great day trip and would recommend staying in cordoba for atleast 2-3 days so you can visit and explore the whole city and stay in the apartments near the catedral which would be an experience of its own.
The weather was averaging at 33 degrees in May in cordoba the week we went and it was sunny all weeek around so would highly recommend a May trip!
The ticket to the site where we purchased the tickets is linked below and is the Cheapest tickets as it is the original site. They also have some discounts too for seniors and children’s.
Travel tip: when booking coach tickets try to avoid Trainline and apps that use Alsa as a client. Instead book directly from Alsa as three of us got a group discount and saved around £20 by booking through Alsa directly. For the identification we used passport which was perfectly fine. Also the seating in the coach is quite strict so would recommend you stick to the seats you get as most of the coach ends up getting full.
