A family in Southern California is calling for help to rescue their kidnapped mom, Maria del Carmen Lopez. The American citizen was living in Mexico, where she was abducted by two men who had their heads covered. Zonia Lopez, Maria’s daughter, says she hasn’t heard from her mother in weeks, and the kidnappers have gone dark. Jennifer Coffindaffer, a former FBI agent, said it’s a “typical” type of kidnapping conducted by Mexican cartels.
