Winter beers are all very heavy, and when the food is also heavy it's hard to not overdo it. So today I am solving this issue by brewing a festive ale that is light and crushable, so you can keep on drinking well into the feast and beyond. An orange cranberry blond with belgian roots. Recipe for 2.5 gals (9.5L):
-4.5 gals (17L) Water

-57% Pilsner
-14% Flaked Wheat
- 29% Cranberry Juice

- .25oz (7g) Warrior @30 mins
-.5oz (14g) Saaz @5 mins
- Peel and Juice of 2 Oranges

-Lallemand Abbaye Ale

Mash @ 148ºF (~64ºC) for about 45 mins
Boil for 30 mins
______________________
Ferment around 67ºF (~19C) for 7 Days

Original Gravity: 1.047
Final Gravity: 1.009
ABV: 5%
IBUs: ~20
